Author to speak on state’s history from 1798-1840

The Pass Christian Historical Society will hold its monthly luncheon on Monday, June 26, at noon. The group will welcome author Mike Bunn, who will speak about Mississippi history from 1798-1840.  His latest book, Old Southwest to Old South: Mississippi, 1798-1840, explains how Mississippi’s early development shaped the state and continues to define it today.

Lunch will begin at noon, and the cost is $12 for members and $15 for non-members. Those who plan to attend are asked to make lunch reservations by 5 p.m. on Friday, June 23. Reservations and more information are available by calling 228-452-7254 or emailing Reservations@PassHistory.org.
