Murphy to present at Historical Society luncheon

The Pass Christian Historical Society will hold its monthly luncheon on Monday, September 25, at noon. The speaker will be Pat Murphy, who will give a first-person snapshot of growing up in a small Mississippi Gulf Coast town. Murphy is the author of the recently-released book, Growing Up Downtown Bay St. Louis: A Memoir of Small Town Mississippi Life 1950 – 1970.

Lunch will begin at noon, and the cost is $12 for members and $15 for non-members. Those who plan to attend are asked to make lunch reservations by 5 p.m. on Friday, September 22. Reservations and more information are available by calling 228-452-7254 or emailing Reservations@PassHistory.org.
