Seats available for Oct. 10 Breakfast with the Mayor

Spots are available for this year’s Breakfast with the Mayor meeting, hosted by the Long Beach Chamber of Commerce. The annual event will be held in the Hardy Ballroom at the University of Southern Mississippi’s (USM) Gulf Park Campus in Long Beach on Tuesday, October 10. Doors will open at 7:30 a.m. for breakfast and networking. The program is scheduled to run from 8 to 9 a.m.
Those in attendance will hear updates on the City of Long Beach from Mayor George Bass. The Long Beach Chamber of Commerce will also honor this year’s First Responders of the Year, the Aline Doherty Citizen of the Year and Public Works Employee of the Year.
Nominations have been received already for the Aline Doherty Citizen of the Year Award, which honors a resident or business owner in Long Beach who, through commitment to the community and through the spirit of volunteerism over a period of time, has improved the quality of life in Long Beach and brought credit to Long Beach and the Gulf Coast.
The cost to attend this year’s Breakfast with the Mayor is $25 for members of the Long Beach Chamber of Commerce and $35 for non-members. Reserved table sponsorships are also available.
