Historical Society luncheon set for Oct. 30

The Pass Christian Historical Society, located at 201 East Scenic Drive, will hold its monthly luncheon on Monday, October 30, at noon. Rory O’Neill Schmitt and Rosary Hartel O’Neill, authors of Edgar Degas in New Orleans, will be the speakers. Their book discusses how the grit and grandeur of New Orleans helped give rise to an icon of French Impressionism.

Lunch will begin at noon, and the cost is $12 for members and $15 for non-members. Those who plan to attend are asked to make lunch reservations by 5 p.m. on Friday, October 27, by calling 228-452-7254 or emailing Reservations@PassHistory.org.
