Annual farm-to-table event set for Nov. 5

Pass Christian Main Street will host their annual farm-to-table dinner on Sunday, November 5 at 5:30 p.m., outdoors at the Pavilion, located on the corner of Second Street and Davis Avenue.

This is the eighth iteration of the popular event, but the first time at this location. The event will feature local chefs who will create a five-course dinner that fosters a local, fresh food culture. This year’s chefs will include Joann York, preparing the appetizer; Marie Lamb, preparing the salad; Frank Corso of Whiskey Prime, preparing the soup; Howard Harrien of Bacchus on the Beach, preparing the entrée; and Lauren Jaffrion of Radish, preparing the dessert. Miles Hawthorn will provide live music for the evening.

The fundraiser has consistently drawn upwards of one hundred participants each year, with tickets selling very quickly. Tickets for the limited-seating event will be on sale through October 27. This year’s event will seat 108 people.

Partnership and sponsor opportunities are available and help support the sustainability of Pass Christian Main Street programs, including Art in the Pass, Jazz in the Pass, Theatre in the Pass, Trinity Dog Park, and participation in special community programs, such as Cruisin’ the Coast and Christmas in the Pass.
