Long Beach High band holds fundraiser

The first quarter of the Long Beach School District’s school year isn’t even over yet, but members of the Long Beach High School (LBHS) band are starting the new year on the right note.

Members of the band traded their trombones, flutes and other instruments for buckets of soap and scrub brushes, at least for a day, to participate in a fundraising car wash. Proceeds from the event will help fund LBHS band activities.
