Tech classes to be offered at library
The Pass Post
With the understanding that technology can be intimidating, the Pass Christian Library will be offering three free classes in May to help break down the barriers to being a savvy user of today’s smart phones and email capabilities.
On Thursday, May 8, Collin Rust with CSpire will teach a “Smartphone 101” class, which will help familiarize participants with cell phones and how to use them efficiently. The Class will be held at 2 p.m. in the library conference room.
Then, on Thursday, May 15, a set of two free classes will be offered that will be focused on the basics of email. Those who would like to learn how to set up an email account and/or manage files and send attachments are invited to attend either or both of the classes to help them make better use of email. Email 101 will begin at 1 p.m., and Email 102 will start at 2:15 p.m.
All classes are free to attend and open to the public, but space is limited. To reserve a spot or for more information, call the Pass Christian Public Library at 228-452-4596, or email PassChristianLibrary@gmail.com.
The library is located at 111 Hiern Avenue.
