One of the busiest corridors is about to get brighter – literally! Progress continues on the City of Long Beach’s ongoing Gateway Project, as seen at the intersection of Highway 90 and Jeff Davis Avenue. Crews are getting closer to completing work on the City’s lighthouse perched at the west end of the harbor.
Work is currently focused on forming the plaza area surrounding the lighthouse tower, which City officials say will create a welcoming space for residents and visitors to gather and enjoy.
Siding is also being installed on the tower, bringing the structure one step closer to its final look.
