“Voices Under the Oaks” tours set for Nov. 6 and 7

Live Oak Cemetery Tours will present “Voices Under the Oaks” Friday, November 6, and Saturday, November 7, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Live Oak Cemetery, 125 Church Avenue in Pass Christian.

The tours are intended to engage the community with the rich and diverse history of Pass Christian, celebrating the brilliance and resilience of the city’s forebears. Visitors will stroll paths among majestic trees as guides and performers bring to life the legacy and lore of the “Jewel of the Gulf Coast.”

The first tour each evening starts at 5 p.m., and the last tour begins at 8 p.m. Tours run every 15 minutes.

The cost is $5 per person, cash only. Children 12 and under are free. Following the tour, Trinity Episcopal Church invites visitors to enjoy cookies and hot chocolate “under the church.”

The tours are presented by the Live Oak Cemetery Association and Trinity Episcopal Church in partnership with the Pass Christian Historical Society.
