The Gulfport Chamber of Commerce will host its Gulfport Reports: An Update on Education program, at 8:30 a.m., Wednesday, March 17, online via Zoom. Speakers will feature State Superintendent of Education for Mississippi Dr. Carey, along with Gulfport School District Superintendent Glen East and Harrison County School District Superintendent Roy Gill.
Pre-registration for this event is required, but free to view.
“So much is changing in the K-12 education world – some driven by the pandemic and also from growth and efforts to meet demands for a trained workforce,” says Tracy Yanez, director of the Gulfport Chamber of Commerce. “We’ll here an update from the state and local perspectives of these education leaders.”
