The Mississippi Market Bulletin, published by the Mississippi Department of Agriculture and Commerce, serves as a source to buy direct from a farmer, as well as a source to find items needed for both small and large farms, both small and large, gardens and homesteads.
“As we ‘Shelter in Place’ to slow down the spread of COVID-19, I can think of nothing better to do than take a few minutes to read the latest edition of the Mississippi Market Bulletin,” said Commissioner Gipson. “This newspaper has gained the reputation as being the #1 agriculture trade publication in the state for farmers, ranchers and landowners over the last ninety years.”

Issues feature an agricultural commodity and provides a listing of farmers markets; agricultural events; livestock and equipment auctions; farm market prices; livestock shows and sales; and informative and educational information, along with agricultural news articles and recipes.
The Mississippi Market Bulletin has over 32,000 subscribers, allowing all in-state subscribers the opportunity to run two free advertisements per issue. Each issue contains between 2,000-3,000 agricultural advertisements in over 165 categories including machinery and equipment, crops, livestock, farm property, hunting accessories and much more.
