Dozens of local four-legged friends and their owners filed into the Long Beach Senior Activity Center recently for a community pet vaccine event organized by the local non-profit group For Pet’s Sake Rescue. Felines were given HCP vaccinations, and canines received the DAPPv vaccination, all for free. For Pet’s Sake Rescue holds free vaccine events throughout the year to help keep Long Beach pets healthy and up-to-date on their vaccinations. For more information, call 228-202-7125.
