Documentary Screening at the Pass Christian Public Library

The Friends of the Pass Christian Public Library are pleased to host a screening of the documentary Promised Land: A Story of Mound Bayou on Thursday, October 13th at 11:30am in the conference room of the Pass Christian Public Library. The Friends of the Library will provide a free lunch for those attending the screening.

Mound Bayou, a small town deep in the Mississippi Delta holds a story unlike any other. This documentary was produced by Mississippi Heritage Trust in partnership with Red Squared and the Tell Agency. Through Promised Land, the goal is to educate the public about the history of this special place, celebrate the achievements of its early residents and help create a conversation about its future.

Everyone is welcome to attend! The documentary screening is free. The Pass Christian Library is located at 111 Hiern Avenue.
