Drawdown Set To Raise Money For Phase Two Of FETCH Park
Volunteers for the FETCH Park are raising money to complete the second phase of the dog park by holding a drawdown. The City Parks and Recreation Department maintains the park and will construct the capital improvements for the second phase, which will include a shade structure, a water feature, and lighting.
The drawdown is scheduled for Saturday, November 14, 2020 at 5pm at the Long Beach Activity and Senior Center.
The event will also feature a silent auction, dog agility and training videos, live music provided by Jesse Allen, as well as prizes given away throughout the drawdown. Food, beverages, and BYOB setups will also be available. All ticket holders must be 21 years or older to attend the event.
Tickets are $25 each, and you have the option of buying insurance for $10. Tickets are available online at www.fetchparklongbeachms.com or from any FETCH Park volunteer. Volunteers can be contacted through the FETCH Park Facebook page.
Personalized paver bricks, to be laid at the dog park, are also available for purchase to help raise money.
If you would like to volunteer or donate an item or service for the auction please contact us through our Facebook page.
