Long Beach Halloween Not Canceled

Posted

Halloween isn’t canceled... Long Beach residents will need to make adjustments for the safety of our community and children. There are still a lot of limbs, uprooted trees, downed power lines and many areas without power - which makes Trick or Treating at night very hard and leaves safety concerns. Citizens have been cleaning their yards and stacking debris piles for pick up which makes traveling for Trick or Treating along the sidewalks in neighborhoods a hazard. The City of Long Beach would like to set a time before nightfall for families who wish to Trick or Treat to plan to go between 4 PM and 6 PM. Remember the Covid pandemic is still happening, and ask that you and your loved ones still follow CDC guidelines to help stop the spread of the virus.
