MS GULF COAST – Coast Young Professionals (CYP) presents CYP Activate: Local Elections Matter with Windy Swetman of Swetman Security Services via Zoom webinar on Wednesday, March 31, from 9:00 a.m. to10:00 a.m. Learn about the importance of voting in City Elections, the process, how to learn about the candidates, what City Government regulates and more “Many understand the importance of national elections and tend to primarily utilize their voting power for those, but many are not completely aware of why it is important to exercise this power locally as well,” said Lindsay Mitchell. “Windy’s knowledge on this will bring awareness to our members on how local elections directly affect the community.”
