St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church Hurricane Ida Relief

Please help Long Beach Society of St Vincent de Paul and St Thomas Church with the devastation that occurred in Larose, Louisiana. We all recall the relief that was offered to us in our time of need after Hurricane Katrina. If you have the means, do help us with carrying hurricane relief forward to Larose.

Our drop-off location for Hurricane Ida Relief is at the pavilion behind St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 720 E. Beach Blvd., Long Beach, 39560.

The following items are being collected:

Water, cleaning supplies, paper products and non-perishable food; Please NO clothing or shoes.

DONATION DROP OFF HOURS ARE:

Saturday 9am to 6pm

Sunday Noon to 6pm

Monday through Thursday, 9am to noon and 4pm to 7pm (Ending Thursday 5pm September 16th)

The 18-wheeler trailer doors will be closing Thursday at 5pm.

We would like to thank the community for helping St. Thomas and Society of Saint Vincent de Paul donate to fill this large truck. The truck is headed to Hurricane Ida relief to help the LaRosa Louisiana Society of Saint Vincent de Paul Thursday evening.

We are also accepting monetary donations to send to the victims.

St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church will be a drop-off location for Hurricane Ida Relief. Those wishing to donate may bring items to the pavilion behind the church, at 720 E. Beach Blvd. in Long Beach. The following items are being collected:

DONATION DROP OFF HOURS BEGINNING FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 3rd: Friday, September 3rd, 9am to noon and 4pm to 7pm Saturday, September 4th from 9am to 6pm Sunday, September 5th from Noon to 6pm Monday through Friday, 9am to noon and 4pm to 7pm Relief supplies will be delivered to Louisiana communities as soon as the truck trailer is filled. The collection is being handled by St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church and the local St. Vincent De Paul Society.
