Update on Education event set for Sept. 27

School has just begun for the 2022-2023 Long Beach School District, but Superintendent Dr. Talia Lock is already preparing for an interactive Update on Education event scheduled for Tuesday, September 27, from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. at the Long Beach Senior Activity Center located at 20257 Daugherty Road.


Parents and guardians, as well as the community as a whole, will have the chance to meet Lock and hear updates about the accomplishments of the Long Beach School District during the 2021-2022 school year. Dr. Lock will also share plans and goals for the 2022-2023 school year.

The event is sponsored by the Long Beach Chamber of Commerce. Doors will open at 7:30 a.m., and tickets are $20 for the general public. Chamber members can purchase tickets for $15. For more information, visit the Chamber’s webpage at MSCoastChamber.com, or call 228-604-0014.
