USM Gulf Park Hosting Inaugural Mississippi Cybersecurity Faculty Retreat
The Inaugural Mississippi Cybersecurity Faculty Retreat is being hosted 7:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m., Friday, Feb. 25, 2022 by USM’s School of Computing Sciences and Computer Engineering at USM Gulf Park Campus in Long Beach, Hardy Hall Ballroom, in support of a statewide Mississippi Cyber Initiative. Representatives from higher education institutions throughout the state, including four-year and community colleges, as well as Air Force and Navy personnel, are expected to attend. The retreat’s primary focus is to share information on what is being taught in cybersecurity, while also looking for ways to strengthen collaborations.
