The City of Long Beach would like to inform residents and visitors about upcoming road work scheduled for North Island View and Pineville Road.
North Island View - Monday, February 10th: Contractors will begin milling the road on North Island View on Monday, February 10th. Once the milling is complete, the road will be paved. During this time, one lane will remain open for traffic, allowing vehicles to flow in and out of the area. However, to minimize delays and disruptions, we encourage the community to avoid the area if possible. Please exercise caution and follow posted signs and detours.
Pineville Road (5 Points to Walgreens) - Tuesday, February 11th: Following the completion of the milling work on North Island View, contractors will begin milling Pineville Road on Tuesday, February 11th. Once the milling is complete, the road will be paved. One lane will remain open for traffic, so drivers should expect some delays. We ask that residents plan accordingly and avoid the area if feasible.
Expected Completion - February 19th: The contractor expects both milling and paving to be completed by Tuesday, February 19th, weather permitting. Updates on progress and any necessary adjustments to the work schedule will be provided as needed.
