Long Beach Police Department (LBPD) Officer Bammert and Officer McNeece recently spent time in St. John Parish, Louisiana, cooking and serving food to the local first responders and victims of Hurricane Ida. LBPD representatives also joined with the Gulfport, Biloxi and D’Iberville police departments, the Gulfport Fire Department, the Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics, and the Harrison County Sheriff’s Office to travel to LaPlace, Louisiana, to help with Hurricane Ida relief.
