Computer classes offered at library

The Pass Christian library is hoping to help residents to use instead of fear their computers with two computer classes planned for November.

On Thursday, November 30, at 1 p.m., the library will offer “Hoopla and More” to explore and explain the free e-services offered by the Harrison County Library System. The course will cover digital and audio e-books, music and movies, as well as Kanopy and Rocket Languages.

Following, at 2:15 p.m., patrons (even if they don’t own one) can learn the basics of using an iPad, tablet and smartphone, including downloading and installing applications.

Both classes will be held in the library conference room and are free and open to the public. However, class size is limited, and reservations are recommended.

To reserve a spot or for further information, call the Pass Christian Public Library at 228-452-4596 or email PassChristianLibrary@gmail.com.

The Pass Christian Library is located at 111 Hiern Avenue.
