Gone Fishing Ministries raffle tickets available

Gone Fishing Ministries, an all-volunteer organization established as an outgrowth of the Disaster Relief Committee of the Goodwill Missionary Baptist Church in Pass Christian, is holding a raffle to benefit their weekly feeding program. The 501(c)3 non-profit program provides free meals on Mondays and Wednesdays to those in need, frequently serving more than 300 meals.

Continuing through July 27, tickets are $5 each, three tickets for $10, or seven tickets for $20.  The raffle is for a gift basket valued at $500, which includes over $200 in gift cards from local businesses.

The organization will also accept tax-deductible donations and notes that a $50 donation will pay for six gallons of string beans, $175 pays for enough paper plates for two days of meals, and $225 pays for about seventy-five meals. Donations of any amount are appreciated.
