Blessing of the Jeeps celebrates 5th anniversary

On Saturday, April 12, St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church will host the 5th Annual Blessing of the Jeeps, and organizers are planning the event to be bigger and better than ever.
From 10 a.m. until 2 p.m., the family event will include music, activities, entertainment, fun, community and, for Jeep owners, the option of receiving a special blessing for their favorite Jeep. It will also offer an opportunity for Jeep owners and enthusiasts to connect.
The annual event is a fundraiser, and all monies raised through registration fees, merchandise sales, sponsorships, raffles, etc. are split equally between Batman LBMS Animal Rescue Foundation and the St. Thomas LifeTeen Youth Group.
Special limited edition anniversary merchandise is available – while it lasts! – including shirts, badges and flags.
Registration is $15 per Jeep. T-shirts and other merchandise for $25 to $30. Links for registration and merchandise sales can be found on the event’s Facebook page at Blessing of the Jeeps -MS.
The fundraiser is a rain or shine event, and no refunds will be offered.
