Sparklight Offers Free Backpacks and School Supplies to Help Long Beach Families in Need
Sparklight® is helping families in need gear up for school by providing 400 free backpacks filled with essential back-to-school items at its retail offices across the Gulf Coast. Supplies align with K-12 supply lists to help ensure every student has the tools needed for a successful start to the new school year.
Starting Aug. 4, 100 filled backpacks will be available at each of the following Sparklight locations:
- 786 Dr. Martin Luther King Junior Blvd., Biloxi
- 12261 Hwy. 49, Ste. 8, Gulfport
- 19201 Pineville Rd., Long Beach
- 5100 Macphelah Rd., Pascagoula
Backpacks will be issued on a first-come, first-served basis, with one backpack provided per K-12 student while supplies last. Locations are open Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. till 5 p.m. All community residents with children in local schools are eligible. Please bring proof of student enrollment.
