Pass Christian Excel By 5 Hosts First Community Baby Shower

Pass Christian Excel By 5 will host its first Community Baby Shower on Tuesday, September 16, from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Randolph Center, located at 315 Clark Avenue in Pass Christian. The event is free and open to new and expectant mothers in Harrison and Hancock Counties.

Excel By 5 is an innovative early childhood initiative that helps communities focus on the critical development of children from birth to age five. The program highlights the essential roles parents and early childhood educators play during these early years. Pass Christian is currently working toward becoming an Excel By 5 certified community, and the baby shower marks an important step in the process.

The evening will provide new and expectant mothers with valuable educational resources and connections to community services. Guests will receive Mommy Totes filled with helpful items, enjoy refreshments, and have the chance to win door prizes. Organizers emphasize that the goal is not only to celebrate motherhood but also to equip parents with tools and information to support their children’s growth and development.
