Scam prevention and internet safety tips presentation planned

The Long Beach Public Library and the Long Beach Parks and Recreation Department are partnering to co-host a scam prevention and internet safety tips presentation.

Set for October 16 at 10 a.m., the presentation will be held at the Long Beach Senior Center and is free to attend. Topics will include internet safety tips, as well as how to avoid being a victim of fraud, how to protect from cyber criminals and how to recognize scams. The presenter will be Starr Chapman, who serves as outreach officer for Attorney General Lynn Fitch.
