The Long Beach Chamber of Commerce is gearing up for one of its biggest fundraisers at a new location.
The Annual Touch-A-Truck event is scheduled to take place on Saturday, March 14, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. While the family-friendly event will provide young ones with hands-on activities as it does each year, this year the event’s venue has changed.
Due to ongoing construction at the Long Beach Harbor, this year’s Touch-A-Truck fundraiser will be held on Jeff Davis Avenue in downtown Long Beach.
Admission remains free, as it has been for the past three years.
“We have been able to offer free admission for the past three years, thanks to our wonderful sponsors and community support,” says Anna Claire Perrone, Director of the Long Beach Chamber of Commerce.

Touch-A-Truck is a fundraising event that provides kids of all ages with the opportunity to experience life-size vehicles, including fire trucks, heavy equipment and law enforcement vehicles – just to name a few, and to interact with community support leaders including police officers, firemen, construction workers, and more.
Funds raised at the event go towards the Long Beach Chamber of Commerce’s High School Scholarships fund.
