Youth Harmonica Class to be held at Pass Christian Library

 

Register now for the Youth “Mississippi Saxophone” 3 Day Workshop, A Blues Harmonica Class with Musician “Bayou” Shannon Williford. This workshop is designed for students in 5th to 8th grade. It will take place at Pass Christian Public Library on April 6, April 8, and April 10, 2026, from 2 to 4 pm.  The timing coincides with most Spring school breaks.

 

During the workshop, students will learn about the Mississippi Delta Blues and how to play the harmonica. The workshop will conclude with a concert where students will showcase their newly acquired skills. Each participant will also receive a harmonica and a songbook.

Although the workshop is free, space is limited. Interested individuals should reserve their spot by calling the library at 228-452-4596 or emailing passchristianlibrary@gmail.com. The library is located at 111 Hiern Ave, Pass Christian.
