This year’s Blessing of the Jeeps, the sixth occurrence of the local fundraiser that grows in popularity each year, is set for Saturday, April 11. Hosted by St. Thomas Catholic Church, with proceeds benefitting the church’s Life Teen program, the family-friendly event opens at 10 a.m. with food, music, fun in the sun, fellowship, games and activities.
The Jeep blessing, which comes towards the conclusion of the event, allows registered Jeepers to line up behind the church to get a blessing from church clergy for a safe Jeepin’ season.
The day of blessings and camaraderie ends at 2 p.m.
St. Thomas Catholic Church encourages not just Jeep owners but the entire community to attend the springtime gathering. The event is open to everyone, regardless of religious affiliation.
For more information, or to register a vehicle for Blessing of the Jeeps, visit the “Blessing of the Jeeps – MS” Facebook page. T-shirts and badges are available for purchase, and sponsorship opportunities are also available.
The event site, St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, is located at 702 Beach Boulevard in Long Beach.

I cannot attend the blessing of the Jeeps. But, I would like to purchase a tee shirt. How do I purchase a shirt. Thanks
