Baleyev assists at State Capitol

Svetlana Gray Baleyev (left) of Long Beach recently served as a page for the Mississippi Senate. Pages generally run errands for officials and Senate staff.  Baleyev is pictured with Lieutenant Governor C. Delbert Hosemann, Jr. (right), who sponsored her visit. She is the daughter of Kelley and Oleg Baleyev and attends Long Beach Senior High School. When asked about the week, Baleyev said, “I enjoyed the interaction and involvement I had with the senators and the senior pages. I learned a great deal about the Senate and how everything and everyone in the Capital worked.”
