From Eggs to Chicks: A Hands-On Lesson in Growth

Our Pre-K students recently experienced the excitement of watching baby chicks hatch right inside their classroom as part of their “Things That Grow” unit! Over the past few weeks, students  learned about the life cycle of chickens, cared for the eggs, and patiently waited for the big day.

The classroom was filled with smiles and excitement as students watched the chicks begin to hatch and grow. This hands-on learning experience gave our young learners the opportunity to observe science in action while practicing patience, responsibility, and curiosity.

From reading stories about animals to discussing how living things grow and change, the chick hatching project brought learning to life in a memorable way. Our students loved meeting the fluffy  new arrivals and discovering firsthand how tiny eggs can grow into baby chicks!
