Library opens registration for Summer Reading in the Pass
The Pass Post
The Pass Christian Library has released plans for its annual summer reading program. Library officials say that because local schools get out a little later, Summer Reading in the Pass will begin on June 3 this year. The program’s closing party is set for July 1.
This year’s theme is “Unearth a Story,” and the library will host family programs every Wednesday at 10 a.m. from June 3 through July 1.
Weekly 10 a.m. programs include:
| June 3 | Unearth a Story with illustrator Chuck Galey |
| June 10 | Unearth a Story Pottery with artist Marie Lamb |
| June 17 | Archaeology: Can You Dig It? with librarian Geoff Conwill |
| June 24 | A visit from the Hattiesburg Zoo |
| July 1 | America 250 Closing Party with snowballs, the Pass Christian Fire Department, reading awards, prizes and more |
Registration for the Summer Reading in the Pass program is available at https://harrison.lib.ms.us or by visiting the library. A complete summer library schedule is available at the library, and additional information will also be posted on the library’s Facebook page.
