Madigan named 2026 Mississippi Deep Sea Fishing Rodeo Queen

Long Beach Mayor Tim Pierce (center) hosted a special luncheon for Savannah Madigan, a Long Beach resident who earned the title of the 2026 Mississippi Deep Sea Fishing Rodeo Queen, and members of the royal court.

Savannah Madigan served and represented the City of Long Beach well after earning the coveted title of the 2026 Mississippi Deep Sea Fishing Rodeo Queen.

Madigan, a Long Beach resident, garnered the honor after being selected as Long Beach’s Mississippi Deep Sea Fishing Rodeo Princess.

Each year, the Gulfport-based Mississippi Deep Sea Fishing Rodeo selects a local woman to serve as Queen. Madingan’s duties at this year’s annual Deep Sea Fishing Rodeo, which was held July 2-5 at the Barksdale Pavilion and surrounding Jones Park area in downtown Gulfport, included representing the rodeo at various community events and ceremonies. She also made public appearances while helping welcome anglers and visitors from across the region.

Before the official festivities began, the Queen and members of the royal court were honored during a special luncheon hosted by Long Beach Mayor Tim Pierce. The luncheon provided an opportunity for the young women to celebrate their achievements. Madigan will receive a $1,000 scholarship as the Queen.
