Hotel Whiskey nears completion in downtown Long Beach

Construction continues to move forward on the highly anticipated Hotel Whiskey in downtown Long Beach, a boutique hotel expected to become yet another part of the City’s ongoing downtown revitalization.
Located at the corner of Jeff Davis Avenue and Fourth Street, the three-story hotel is designed to offer visitors an upscale lodging option within walking distance of restaurants, shops and the City’s beachfront. The Long Beach location marks the third Hotel Whiskey property on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, joining existing locations in Pass Christian and Pascagoula.
Groundbreaking for the project took place in January 2025, when City officials, developers and community leaders celebrated the beginning of construction. Developers originally projected a twelve-month construction schedule, weather permitting, but the addition of a third floor expanded the scope of the project beyond the initial plans. The investment is now estimated to exceed $5 million.
The boutique hotel will feature 27 guest rooms, modern amenities and private balconies overlooking downtown Long Beach.

Recent online listings indicate that reservations are expected to become available in late 2026, suggesting the hotel is approaching completion and preparing to welcome its first guests. While developers have not publicly announced a formal grand opening date, the project appears to be entering its final stages.

Positions are expected to include customer service, housekeeping, maintenance and other roles as the hotel prepares for opening.
