Pass Christian Looks to Build on Last Season’s Success
After a breakout season in 2025, the Pass Christian Pirates will look to remain one of the top teams in Class 4A this fall.
Pass Christian finished last season with an 11-2 overall record and went a perfect 4-0 in district play under head coach Jeff Stockstill. The Pirates made a major jump after finishing 5-5 the previous year and captured the Class 4A Region 8 title.
The Pirates carried their success into the postseason, defeating South Pike 52-32 before eventually seeing their season come to an end against Columbia. Pass Christian entered that game riding a long winning streak after putting together a dominant second half of the regular season.
Pass Christian will have to replace several important seniors, but quarterback Paris Trivillion is one name to watch after a productive junior season. Trivillion led the Pirates with 86.2 rushing yards per game and finished with 15 total touchdowns. Junior running back Douglas White also averaged 43.6 rushing yards per game.
The Pirates open the 2026 season against West Harrison on Aug. 21 before traveling to Long Beach. Pass Christian will also face Purvis, Presbyterian Christian, St. Stanislaus and East Central before opening region play against Greene County on Oct. 2.
After more than doubling their win total from 2024, the Pirates will look to carry that momentum into another run at a region championship in 2026.
