Mississippi, Through the Eyes of Our Pirates!

This week in Mrs. Moran’s Art class, our 4th graders have been getting creative as they prepare for an upcoming MS Legislative Session Calendar Art Competition!

We talked about all the wonderful things that make Mississippi special and how our communities help us grow. Our Pirates were able to choose from four Mississippi-themed prompts:

The View From Your Window: What do you see that makes Mississippi special?

A Stop That Helps Kids Grow: What place, person, or experience helps kids in your community?

The People Along the Way: Who makes your community a better place?

Destination: The Mississippi We Want to Build. What do you hope Mississippi looks like in the future?

We can’t wait to see how our Pirates use their creativity to show what Mississippi means to them!
