Table is set for Mafia Murder Mystery Dinner in Long Beach

There’s a traitor in “the Family,” someone plotting to overthrow the Godfather of the local mob. Who could it be?
That’s a question for patrons at the upcoming MS SOFIA Mafia Murder Mystery Dinner to figure out, but attendees, beware! The production’s catch phrase is “You’ll die laughing!” The event is hosted by MS SOFIA, the Mississippi Society of Italian Americans Foundation, a 501(c)3 charitable foundation.
“It was members of MS SOFIA who chose the Mafia theme, but our club welcomes everyone,” says David Biagini, producer of the upcoming Mafia Murder Mystery Dinner and President of MS SOFIA.

First launched in 2022, the “whodunit” live thriller is packed with a few plot twists and turns and features several new faces among the cast members. Director Jimmy Duggan is returning as director in this year’s fundraising production.
There is a change of venue, though. The Mafia Murder Mystery Dinner debuted at Holy Mary Catholic Church in Biloxi in 2022. This year’s Mafia Murder Mystery Dinner will take place in Long Beach, in the auditorium at St. Vincent de Paul School, located at 4321 Espy Avenue, on Friday, November 6, and Saturday, November 7, at 7 p.m., followed by a matinee performance on Sunday, November 8, at noon. Funds raised at this year’s event will go to MS SOFIA and to fund a St. Vincent de Paul scholarship.
Seats for the event are available on a limited for each show. Tickets prices are $40 per person and $75 for couples. Tickets include admission to the live, interactive mystery dinner and a full meal and beverage.
