Reconstruction topic of upcoming luncheon

The Pass Christian Historical Society will hold its monthly luncheon on Monday, April 27, at noon, featuring political consultant and author Jere Nash.  Nash will speak on “Reconstruction in Mississippi, 1862-1877,” focusing on the turbulent and eventful era in Mississippi history during the ten-year period following the Civil War. He will explore how Mississippi responded to broader movements happening in the United States and the world.

The Historical Society is located at 201 East Scenic Drive, and the cost for the luncheon is $15 for members and $17 for non-members.
