Long Beach Main Street recently awarded $15,000 in local façade improvement grants to Long Beach businesses to support their exterior enhancements and reinvestment in Long Beach. The façade grant program was made possible through a partnership with Mississippi Power, demonstrating the impact of local-private collaboration.

Façade grant recipients include Forget Me Not Florist, Serendipity Creamery, Bankhouse Coffee, Rusty Pelican, Long Beach Barber Shop, Dolce Bakeshop, Radish, Healing Hands Chiropractic and Trendy Boutique.

“These investments reflect the continued momentum of Long Beach’s revitalization efforts,” said Long Beach Main Street Director Courtney Welch. “By combining national opportunities with local partnerships, we are able to directly support our small businesses, enhance storefronts, and strengthen the overall economic vitality of Long Beach.”

Additionally, Exclusive Cleaners was recently named a recipient of a $10,000 grant from Main Street America, the American Express Backing Small Businesses Grant Program. Exclusive Cleaners was one of only four hundred Main Street businesses nationwide that were selected for the award.

Long Beach Main Street continues to focus on programs that support local businesses, encourage reinvestment, and preserve the unique character of Long Beach while positioning it for long-term growth.
