The Pass Christian Library offered both plant education and acquisition opportunities this spring.

On Thursday, April 2, the library and the Pass Christian Garden Club partnered to co-host the garden program “Poisonous and Venomous Flora and Fauna: Plants and Animals” at 1 p.m. at the library.

The program featured Harrison County Extension Agent Tim Ray. It was free, and the public was invited to attend.

The annual plant swap will be held on May 1.

Then, on Friday, May 1, the library will hold a Plant Swap from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m.  Community members are welcome to bring a plant, cutting or seeds to the library to trade them for a new plant(s) or seed(s) brought by someone else. The swap is free and open to the public. It will be held, rain or shine, under the portico near the library.
