Although this marks the second summer the LBHS Bearcat Cheerleaders stayed home instead of attending an overnight cheer camp, the squad still managed to have a camp experience starting with 15 spring/summer practices, many of which were at the beloved "track" at the Lumpkin Magee Stadium.
Camp started off with an overnight stay at the Inn at Long Beach. Two staff members from Universal Cheerleaders Association led the three day camp where the team learned new sidelines, cheers, dances, and a camp routine. In addition, many cheerleaders were recognized by UCA for their talents.
