Several Long Beach High School choir members, after completing an online audition process, were selected to participate in the Mississippi Music Educator Association/American Choral Director Association All State Honor Choir, giving them the opportunity to perform with one hundred fifty other high school students from around the state.

In addition, Voorhies and Sanderson were named in the top five auditionees in Mississippi for their vocal submissions.
