Troop 321 finishes fire pit project for church

Troop 321, a High Adventure Boy Scouts of America Troop from Long Beach, recently broke in a new fire pit they built as a request from First United Methodist Church of Long Beach. The fire pit, an Eagle Scout project, is built at an angle lining up with the main doors leading into the narthex of the church, using the same pattern of the doors. Troop 321, which was formed in 2018 with a focus on high adventure and working with younger scouts in local camps, meets on Tuesdays from 6:30 until 8 p.m. at First United Methodist Church, located at 208 Pine Street. For more information about Troop 321, contact Scoutmaster Tommy Carroll at 228-547-3237.
