2nd Annual Cookout for First Responders held

The heat index was above one hundred degrees on Sunday, August 6, but that didn’t stop organizers of the 2nd Annual Cookout for First Responders from serving a free meal to dozens of Long Beach policemen and firefighters.
The event was put on by Southern Jeep Outfitters LLC at the beach in Long Beach to show appreciation for all the hard work put in by the city’s firefighters, police and first responders. Ray Bell at Smoke & Geaux BBQ provided barbeque for the cookout.
