Family Movie Day planned for August 10

It’s hard to believe that August is nearly here.  As promised, we have included some pictures of the fun we had this summer.

Family Movie Day will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday, August 10, in the children’s wing.  We will be showing Paramount Pictures/Nickelodeon’s Barnyard.

Preschool story time will continue to be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 10:30 a.m. 

The library will be closed for Labor Day from Saturday, August 31, through Monday, September 2, and will reopen on Tuesday, September 3, at 9 a.m.

There are no meetings planned in August for the Friends of the Library or the Long Beach Board of Trustees.

As a reminder to everyone, Long Beach Public Library’s hours are Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.  We are open on Saturdays from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m.  On Saturdays, we hold our book sale in the main meeting room.
