PCSD rededicates sports complex

The Pass Post

The Pass Christian School District (PCSD) recently held a ribbon-cutting and rededication ceremony for its newly-renovated sports complex. The facility was renamed to honor the legacy of Dr. Philip Terrell, a beloved community member and former Pass Christian School District superintendent.

“We are thrilled to host this event and celebrate the revitalization of the Philip Terrell Sports Complex,” said Dr. Carla Evers, current PCSD superintendent. “This is a momentous occasion for our district and community as we continue to provide state-of-the-art facilities for our athletes and students.”

Some of the improvements to the complex included upgrades to locker rooms, dugouts, meeting rooms, offices, storage areas, hitting and practice facilities, laundry facilities and fields. Other improvements include the addition and improvement of restroom facilities and the enclosure of some practice facilities.

District faculty, community members, local leaders and the family of honoree Dr. Philip Terrell participated in the ceremony.
