Located on the first floor inside the lobby of Long Beach City Hall at 201 Jeff Davis Avenue, the kiosk allows residents and others to pay a variety of City-related fees without waiting in line during regular office hours. Residents conducting business at Long Beach City Hall now have a faster and more convenient option for handling some of their most common transactions, thanks to the recent installation of a new self-service payment kiosk, which is set to improve access for residents, citizens and business owners in the area.

City officials say the addition of the kiosk reflects a broader effort to modernize public services while providing residents and others in the city with greater flexibility when conducting routine business.

The user-friendly machine guides users through the payment process using on-screen instructions. Payments can be made using accepted forms of electronic payment, and receipts are printed immediately upon completion of transactions.

For many, the new technology means shorter wait time. By placing the kiosk in an easily-accessible location at Long Beach City Hall, City leaders hope to increase efficiency while expanding access to essential government services.

However, Long Beach officials do encourage potential kiosk users to verify that specific transactions qualify for kiosk service before visiting. Certain matters, including some complex tax issues and expired registrations, may still require other assistance.

City leaders say that the addition of the new, self-service kiosk underscores Long Beach’s commitment to embracing practical solutions that enhance customer service while keeping pace with evolving technology.
