The 27th Annual Cruisin’ the Coast revs up on Sunday, October 1, as vintage and antique cars, trucks and hotrods make the trek to South Mississippi for the coast-wide event, which will last until Sunday, October 8. Long Beach and Pass Christian are among the many cities hosting events and celebrations for the weeklong attraction.

The first six hundred registered vehicles will begin lining up at 1 p.m. at Long Beach High School, where the parade is set to begin. The parade will roll down Cleveland Avenue, turn west on Railroad Street, take a left down Jeff Davis Avenue and will then proceed east on Highway 90, wrapping up at the east end of the Long Beach Harbor. Parade-goers are encouraged to stake out their spots on the parade route early for the best view and throws. Chris Jacobs will serve as this year’s Grand Marshal of the parade.
A concert by the Tip Tops will be held afterward, from 6 to 9 p.m., at the Long Beach Harbor.
The annual Country Cruisin’ Breakfast will be held at the Long Beach Yacht club from 7 to 10 a.m. on Thursday, October 5; Friday, October 6, and Saturday, October 7.
