Pass hosts inaugural Veterans Day Parade

Posted

The streets of downtown Pass Christian converted into a sea of red, white and blue, as people from all walks of life waved American flags and reached for beads and other throws from floats at the first-ever Veterans Day Parade in Pass Christian on Saturday, November 11.

Military personnel from all branches of the U.S. military were represented in the inaugural parade, much to the delight of the impressive turnout for this patriotic event. The parade ended at War Memorial Park, where everyone was invited to take part in a celebration including food, music and shopping at veteran-owned business vendor booths on site.

After a successful first-year launch, this Veterans Day Parade in the Pass, which was put on by the Gulf Coast Veterans Association, is expected to become an annual event.
